Start Up television show will feature three Buffalo-based companies

Three local startup companies will be featured on Start Up as part of its 2015 production season.

The show will feature Public Espresso, a small-batch coffee roaster based out of the Hotel at the Lafayette; City Dining Cards, a downtown Buffalo company which recently raised $1 million to fund an aggressive expansion of its business model; and Consumer’s Craft Cruiser, described in the Start Up news release as an “eco/beer-tourism bicycle business.”

The television shows will air on Create® TV and World(sm), which are available through a variety of cable formats and also online. Create®’s YouTube channel can be founder here.

“Small business is the foundation of growth in America, and even more so in comeback cities like Buffalo, Detroit, Milwaukee and Cleveland,” saidGary Bredow, host, creator, and producer of Start Up. “It all starts with one person or a team of individuals with a shared vision, and I believe we have found three very good examples of that right here in Western New York.”

Film crews will visit with each of the startups to interview their entrepreneurs and customers. Production will begin April 28 and conclude May 1 with a party at Resurgence Brewery on Niagara Street in Buffalo.

The air date of Buffalo’s Start Up episode is yet to be determined.
